Front-end Web Developer
My expertise in front-end languages allows me to build structurally sound and visually engaging webpages. I write semantic HTML to maximize accessibility and boost SEO.
I am proficient in JavaScript and am comfortable with the language in many settings: from using vanilla JS to customize and add functionality to existing webpages to building applications from the ground up with the use of React and JSX.
My knowledge of graphic design principles and experience in newsletter layout allow me to build aesthetically pleasing user interfaces that respect informational hierarchy, readability, and brand consistency.
8 years of experience
I began my career as a developer at CCAH. I was initially tasked with building HTML email templates for our clients’ various fundraising campaigns. I created a wide variety of well-designed templates that rendered consistently across all major email service providers including Gmail and Outlook. I soon moved on to applying and enhancing my knowledge JavaScript to provide custom coding solutions to existing assets. This included adding new features to landing pages that enhanced the user experience and facilitated the form completion process.
My time at LMNC allowed me to apply my coding skills on a much larger scale. Working with prominent advocacy organizations such as the Human Rights Campaign, I designed, built and tested large fundraising campaigns with many elements. I built upon my JavaScript knowledge to not only customize existing pages, but to build pages with complex functionality from scratch. This included voting and survey pages, lightboxes, and dollar amount tracking tools.
